A short time ago, UFC president Dana White announced on his Instagram that Chris Weidman will defend the middleweight championship against Vitor Belfort in the main event of UFC 184. White also said in the video that UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Cat Zingano. UFC 184 takes place on Saturday, Feb. 28 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Weidman was originally supposed to Belfort at UFC 173 in May, but due to Nevada banning testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in February, Belfort wasn't going to have enough time to prepare for the fight after previously having an exemption for TRT. The two were then scheduled for UFC 181 in December, but Weidman had to bow out of the fight due to a knee injury.

It was announced by White last week that Rousey and Zingano were going to battle at UFC 182 in January. A UFC official told Sporting News that there is no announcement on what the new co-main event will be for UFC 182.
