Jake Hendrickson, the fan who shelled out for the game worn jersey, had an interesting explanation as to what he plans on doing with it, as told to Yahoo Sports. "For now I’ll probably just frame it up real nice and put it on my wall. Until we win a Super Bowl or I can get together enough money to put it on a rocket ship and shoot it to outer space because I don’t think it belongs on this planet anymore."
Very rarely does space travel every cross paths with professional sports, but this is the rare occasion in which NASA needs to step in and help get involved.
