Buffalo Bills fans want it done their way and they aren't asking much. All they want is for their beloved team to stay in B-Lo instead of emigrating up to Toronto.
If that means asking for a ban on Jon Bon Jovi's catchy tunes, so be it.
MORE: Who's interested in buying the Bills?
The group 12th Man Thunder, founded to "give Buffalo Bills fans a voice during the sale of the franchise," is asking all Buffalo area bars, restaurants and businesses to stop playing any of the artist's music. Bon Jovi is interested in buying the Bills and wants to move them across the border.
"Someone's coming here and trying to take our team away," said Charles Pellien to Rochester's Time Warner Cable News. "The team is our identity, it's our source of civic pride. It's going to be devastating to the city for Bills fans, so we're going to do whatever we can, whether it's little or whether it's big. Whatever we can to prevent it from happening and put some resistance in the way."
The group is asking supporters to sign a petition on its website to keep the team in town. As of Tuesday night it was at 2,750 signatures.
And if you're hitting up karaoke night with a Bon Jovi tune in mind, make sure you aren't in a "Bon Jovi Free Zone." Also, beware of the high notes in "Livin' on a Prayer." They can be a tad tricky.
Amerst Ale House has already pledged its support for the initiative.
.@Learn2Think @kellydudzikWGRZ @bulledge @11 @WGRZ This isn't our 1st rodeo banning things. Consider Bon Jovi BANNED @AmherstAleHouse also!!

"The day before the #BoycottBonJoi movement started, we decided that (Dallas Cowboys owner) Jerry Jones would not be welcomed at Amherst Pizza & Ale House for saying our team should be moved to Toronto," owner John Bona III wrote in an email to Sporting News. "The BillsMafia enjoyed our stance and asked if we would ban Bon Jovi music the following day? Of course we would! And if Jerry Jones starts a band, we don't play his music, either!"
The "Bills Mafia" is a tight group of die hard Bills fans. They've been vocal in the past about the Bills holding one "home" game each season in Toronto.
"We will only support new owners who embrace and want to keep our team in WNY," Bona continued. "The Bills are a very important part of our civic pride."
"Plus, Bon Jovi wrote 'I'll Be There For You.' My customers don't need to hear that while they're eating a good meal."
You can't sing and eat Amherst Ale House's award-winning wings, anyway.
