"The View" looks good for Brandon Marshall through 2017. The Chicago Bears' Pro Bowl wide receiver broke the news that he agreed to terms on a 3-year contract extension worth $30 million — by signing it live on ABC's popular morning show on Monday.

Marshall also pledged on air, between the now Barbara Walters-less ladies of "The View", to make a $1 million donation to raise awareness of mental health issues, something with which he's had a personal struggle.
Shortly after his announcement, the Bears made the terms of the new deal official. Per multiple reports, it includes $23 million guaranteed. Marshall was set to make $9.3 million for the upcoming season before becoming a free agent in 2015. Now he's locked up for the next four at $39.3 million, giving him a good chance to end his prolific pass-catching career as a Bear.
Marshall, 30, ascended to All-Pro status in his first year with Chicago in 2012. In '13, he made his fifth overall Pro Bowl on the strength of 100 receptions, 1,295 yards and 12 touchdowns.
That should make his favorite quarterback, Jay Cutler, happy, knowing Marshall and Alshon Jeffery will be his exceptional West Coast receiving targets for a longer time to come. Advocates of improving mental health initiatives in America should be more ecstatic about Marshall's appearance on the "The View."
