The Red River Showdown isn’t going anywhere.
The annual Texas-Oklahoma game is staying at the Fair Park Cotton Bowl in Dallas through 2025, Dallas mayor Mike Rawlings announced Tuesday.
The two teams have played there since 1929.

“Dallas is … committed to ensuring the game stays here at Fair Park well beyond 2025,” Rawling said. “Dallas, Texas, is the home of the Red River Rivalry.
In 2012, the agreement to play at the Cotton Bowl was extended through 2020, but after making upgrades to the stadium that were part of the previous deal, the Morning News reported that the deal was extended another five seasons.
