"The Champ is here."

Former Heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali will be in attendance for Thursday night's game between No. 2 Florida State and Louisville, according to a report from the Louisville Courier-Journal. Ali, 72, was born in Louisville. This week marked the 40th anniversary of Ali's famous "Rumble in the Jungle" fight against George Foreman.

Ali represented Louisville at the coin toss in the 2013 Sugar Bowl win against Florida.

That should add to the atmosphere at Papa Johns's Stadium, where several other former Louisville players plan on attending tonight's game. Florida State, the defending national champion, is on a FBS-best 23-game win streak.
