MISSOULA, Mont. — Former Griz point guard Travis DeCuire (dee-cure) has been selected as the next head coach of the University of Montana men's basketball program.

DeCuire holds the Grizzly career and single-season assists records set during his time at Montana from 1992 to 1994. He will be formally introduced at a news conference Monday.

DeCuire spent the last six seasons coaching at the University of California, Berkeley. He will replace coach Wayne Tinkle, who took the top job at Oregon State.
