49ers offensive lineman Jonathan Martin, who quit the Dolphins last season after his involvement in a bullying scandal and added criticism from teammates, was one of many to chime in on the final moments of Game 1 of the NBA Finals  on Thursday night.

As we all know, the air conditioning in the AT&T Center broke midway through the game and the arena reached temperatures of nearly 90 degrees. The result was LeBron James needing  to leave the game late in the fourth quarter because his body shut down with severe cramps.

Thursday night around 11:45 p.m. ET was a good time for a lot of people to put down Twitter, and many should have done so. Now, granted, Martin's comments are hardly scathing, but his decision to delete the tweet suggests that he is aware it wasn't. the best idea.

But he wasn't the only one, and it would be unfair to single him out even though he is in a unique situation.

So here are some others:

UPDATE: So, maybe Gatorade should walk back some of that trash talk? A haymaker from BodyArmor.

UPDATE No. 2: Gatorade apologized on Friday. Probably made things a little awkward with Dwyane Wade, who endorses them.
