The Minnesota Twins have selected shortstop Nick Gordon from Olympia High in Florida with the fifth overall pick in the 2014 MLB Draft.
Gordon has been connected with the Twins in mock drafts for a long time now. The club loves what he brings, and his genes—son of former MLB star Tom Gordon and brother of Dodgers second baseman Dee Gordon—are a plus, too.
Flash Gordon a proud pop: "Pure joy for my boys [Dee & Nick], how they’ve gone about it & how they work together. It’s a blessing."@MLBDraft
