The 2014 MLB Draft took place over the weekend and at the end of 40 rounds of drafting, 1215 players were selected by professional baseball teams. Some, like No. 1 overall pick Brady Aiken, are expected to be valuable parts of their new franchise, while others, like No. 837 overall pick Johnny Manziel, will almost certainly never suit up with their team.
Several sons, brothers and nephews of notable athletes and other famous people were drafted over the weekend as well.
