There are 40 rounds in the MLB Draft. By the end of Saturday night, more than 1,200 players will get a phone call from an MLB team informing them about their future.
Players like Alex Jackson, Kyle Freeland and Jeff Hoffman got phone calls early on in the first round on Thursday night, and while they might turn out to be excellent pro baseball players, their names aren't, well, unique.
