HOUSTON — Angels star Mike Trout left early because of more trouble with his back.
Trout exited in the second inning of Tuesday night's game at Houston. He had missed the previous two games with stiffness in his upper back.

"I felt something," Trout told MLB.com after the game. "It's the same thing I've been feeling for a couple of days and I didn't want to push it.
"I want to be out there, but on the other side, I want to be able to play, fully healthy, and I don't want to risk anything."
Team doctors told Trout the injury isn't serious, but he'll likely be out of Wednesday's lineup, according to MLB.com.
Trout started in center field against the Astros and struck out in the first inning. He was replaced by Collin Cowgill in the middle of the second inning.
Trout entered the game hitting .294 with 11 homes and 38 RBIs.
