The dreaded rain delay hit games in New York and Philadelphia on Friday night. The Diamondbacks are in Queens to play the Mets, a series that usually takes up quite a chunk of fans' time (who doesn't love a 15-inning game on July 4?) while the Dodgers are in South Philly.

Photos out of New York looked like scenes from a movie and, of course, the city-dwellers took to Twitter.

As for Philly, no one on Twitter seemed overly concerned. The teams returned to action after a 43-minute delay.
