Houston Astros prospect Conrad Gregor hit his first home run of the season on Saturday as a member of the Quad Cities River Bandits and did so in front of his parents, who made the five-hour drive from Indiana to Davenport, Iowa.

Not only were his parents on hand for the home run, but his dad was the one who caught it.

Following the game, Gregor told the Quad City Times that he may make his dad sit out there for the remainder of the season. “He may have to watch every game from out there. It’s a little unbelievable, but I’m glad my parents were here to see it and when I got back to the dugout, I heard he made a pretty good catch.’

Gregor was selected by the Astros in the fourth round of the 2013 MLB draft out of Vanderbilt University.
