Ben Revere finally hits a home run image

The Phillies scored both their runs Tuesday via solo home run. The first was by Darin Ruf, noted power threat. The second was by ... Ben Revere? Is that right?

Yeah, it was Revere, and ... some quick math here ... yeah, that was Revere's first career homer. He's been in the bigs since 2010.

The historic blast came off Rockies left-hander Boone Logan in the seventh inning. Fortunately for Logan, the Rox were ahead. They ended up winning, 6-2.

It wasn't Revere's first dinger as a professional; he hit five in the minors.
