For the first time since 2017, WWE heads to India. Thanks to an extension of its partnership with Sony Pictures Networks India, the pro wrestling giant presents Superstar Spectacle at G. M. C. Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, Telangana on September 8.
This will be the second Superstar Spectacle event but the first to ever take place in India.

The first event in 2021 featured several wrestlers of Indian descent, including Guru Raaj, Dilsher Shanky, Sareena Sandhu, and Jinder Mahal. This year, it will be a mix of WWE’s roster and veteran John Cena. He teams with Seth “Freakin’” Rollins, the World Heavyweight Champion, to face Imperium’s Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser.

Also on the card will be an Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title match. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defend the belts against Indus Sher’s Sanga and Veer. Mahal will be in their corner and will look to have an impact in the match.
More stars are expected to appear in what is considered a large house show for WWE.
