Wednesday had just four games on the slate, but there was no shortage of action across the NBA.

Wizards pull off comeback 

After a turbulent week, the Washington Wizards dug deep to snap the Los Angeles Clippers's five-game win streak, pulling off an encouraging comeback win at home.

John Wall led the Wizards with 30 points, while Bradley Beal added 27 and Jeff Green 20 as they rallied from 24 points down to grab the 125-118 win.


Wall, Beal and Green scored 10 points each in the fourth quarter as Washington outscored Los Angeles 39-23.

Tobias Harris led the Clippers with a season-high 29 points. Montrezl Harrell added 20 and Lou Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander each scored 17. 

Danny Green called GAME

With scores tied at 91-91, Danny Green connected on the game-winning jumper with just 0.5 seconds remaining to sink the Orlando Magic.

Evan Fournier tied the game up on the previous play, getting by Green for the two-handed dunk, but the Raptors had the last laugh as they improve to 14-4 on the season after the 93-91 win, 

Green finished with 13 points and three rebounds, while Kawhi Leonard led them in scoring with 18. Serge Ibaka chipped in 14 points and nine rebounds, while Pascal Siakam added 15 points and nine rebounds.

Fournier led the Magic with 27 points.

Dame and CJ overpower Knicks

CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard combined for 60 points as the Portland Trail Blazers edged the New York Knicks 118-114 at Madison Square Garden.

McCollum led the way with 31 points, while Damian Lillard had 29 points, eight assists and six rebounds.

The Blazers shooting guard broke the game open early in the fourth, scoring eight-straight points to give the Blazers a 104-93 lead. New York hit back to cut the lead to three points with 4:48 left, thanks to some big buckets from Trey Burke, before Evan Turner sealed the win with a putback with 9.5 seconds remaining to give Portland a four-point lead.


Tim Hardaway Jr. had 32 points on the night for the Knicks, while Burke chipped in 19 off the bench as the Knicks make it six losses in a row.

Noah Vonleh impressed against his former team with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

D'Angelo Russel: 20 points (9-of-22 FG) nine rebounds, six assists and four steals

Hassan Whiteside: 21 points (9-of-21 FG), 23 rebounds and two blocks
