This past offseason, Fred VanVleet signed one of the biggest deals by an undrafted player.
Early on, he showed up and proved that he was more than worth that contract and his performance on Tuesday only solidified things as he went off for a franchise-record 54 points, also setting the record for most points by an undrafted in NBA history.
En route to 54, he also knocked down a career-high 11 3-pointers - also a franchcise record. His play had the NBA buzzing on Twitter as players - current and retired - shared their reactions.
Congrats to my brotha Freddy V! Kyle old ass couldn’t do it. Glad you did champ! Been telling you!
