Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar hailed Carlos Alcaraz as the Spaniard defended his Wimbledon title by beating Novak Djokovic on Sunday. The 21-year-old Spanish sensation defeated seven-time Wimbledon Champion to defend his title.
Alcaraz won his second Wimbledon men's singles title on Sunday. He beat the Serbian by 6-2, 6-2, and 7-6 in straight sets to lift the crown. By winning the Wimbledon 2024, the Spaniard etched his name amongst the elite, by becoming only the sixth male player to win the Roland Garros (French Open) and Wimbledon in the same year.
