Indian Davis Cup team for tie against Morocco announced image

The All India Tennis Association (AITA) has announced the squad of players set to represent the country for the Davis Cup tie against Morocco.

After a 3-2 loss to Denmark in the World Group I playoffs in February, India dropped down to World Group II, as per the changes made to the tournament structure in 2019.

What is the India squad for the Davis Cup tie against Morocco?

The AITA announced that Rohit Rajpal would stay on as non-playing captain, with Zeeshan Ali appointed as coach of the team.

The full squad consists of Sumit Nagal, Sasikumar Mukund, Digvijay Pratap Singh, Rohan Bopanna, Yuki Bhambri and Ramkumar Ramanathan.

Nagal is India's highest-ranked singles player, with an ATP ranking of 179. Bopanna is ranked No 9 in the doubles category.

India has never won a Davis Cup. The country's best performances have been final appearances in 1966, 1974 and 1987.

When and where is India vs Morocco in the Davis Cup taking place?
