On Thursday, India's Rohan Bopanna made history at the US Open, as he became the oldest man to qualify for a Grand Slam final, as he and Australia's Matthew Ebden won their men's doubles semifinal match.

The pair beat France's Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert 7-6(7), 6-2 to seal their spot in the final. They will play against defending champions Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury on Friday. Bopanna will become the oldest man to win a Grand Slam if the pair are victorious.
The current record belongs to fellow Indian Leander Paes, who won the 2013 US Open men's doubles title alongside Radek Stepanek.
