The 2024 Wimbledon Championships will begin on Monday, July 1. The two week long Grand Slam, the only major played on traditional grass courts, is the most prestigious tournaments in the sport.

Wimbledon could see a showdown between two of the most prominent players currently - World No 1 and top seed Jannik Sinner and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz. Last month, at the age of 21, Alcaraz became the youngest player in the Open Era to win majors on all three surfaces -- grass, clay, hard -- as he clinched the 2024 French Open title.

In the women's section, all eyes will be on defending champion Marketa Vondrousova and World No 1 Iga Swiatek, who is still hunting for her first Wimbledon title.
