Liverpool maintained their place at the top of the Premier League after battling to a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace, but it wasn't all good news for Arne Slot.
The Reds ensured they will head into the October international break at the summit of England's top flight thanks to a first-half goal from Diogo Jota, as Palace suffered their fourth defeat in seven league games and failed to score for the second home match running.
However, there was a potentially significant setback for Liverpool as goalkeeper Alisson suffered an injury in the second half that forced him off the field. He was replaced by Vitezslav Jaros, with regular back-up keeper Caoimhin Kelleher unavailable due to illness.
Alisson missed two games earlier this term due to a muscle issue, so this latest injury will have come as a blow for the Brazilian.
