Portland Trail Blazers' Carmelo Anthony passes Hakeem Olajuwon for 11th on the NBA all-time scoring list image

Portland Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony added yet another milestone to his historic career.

In Saturday's 125-121 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, the 36-year-old passed Houston Rockets legend Hakeem Olajuwon for 11th on the NBA's all-time scoring list. 

Entring tonight's game, Anthony needed 18 points to pass Olajuwon, reaching the mark with 9:46 remaining in the fourth quarter, connecting on a baseline jumper.


"I'm still here, I'm still playing, I'm still going, I'm still enjoying the game, I'm still happy.. that's all that matters," Anthony said post-game.

Anthony, who finished with a team-high 26 points in the win, can climb into the top 10 this season and pass Elvin Hayes, who scored 27,313 career points.
