Report: Phoenix Suns acquire Chris Paul from the Oklahoma City Thunder image

It looks like Chris Paul will be wearing a Phoenix Suns uniform this season.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Suns have acquired Paul from the Oklahoma City Thunder for Ricky Rubio, Kelly Oubre, Ty Jerome, Jalen Lecque and draft compensation.

Paul is coming off of a season in which he made the All-NBA Second Team with averages of 17.6 points, 6.7 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game. He led the Thunder to the playoffs, ending with them losing in seven games to the Houston Rockets in the first round.

Last week, ESPN's Brian Windhorst and Tim Bontemps reported that the Suns were interested in trading for Paul.

Paul has two more years remaining on his contract. He'll make $41.4 million in 2020-21 and has a player option worth $44.2 million in the 2021-22 season.
