Four-day selection trials were held at the Jwala Gutta Academy of Excellence in Hyderabad to select the 19-member Indian squad for the Asian Games. The roster comprises 10 men's players and nine women shuttlers.

PV Sindhu (women’s singles), HS Prannoy (men’s singles), Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy (men’s doubles) and Gayatri Gopichand and Treesa Jolly (women’s doubles) were guaranteed an automatic spot in the team.
The remaining 13 players were selected through the selection trials held in Hyderabad.
