Indian women's hockey team held Australia to a 1-1 draw in their third match of the five-match tour in Adelaide on Sunday.
After losing the first two matches by 4-2 and 3-2 respectively, India finally managed to avoid defeat in this tour.
India started the match strongly and fought toe-to-toe against the mighty Aussies and held on to a goalless first quarter.
The hosts eventually broke the deadlock through Maddison Brooks' strike in the 25th minute of the match.

The Indian players looked desperate for an equaliser as the third quarter began. They finally restored parity in the game in the 42nd minute when Deep Grace Ekka converted a penalty corner.

Australia fought hard to find a winner in the final quarter of the game but the visitors defended valiantly and denied them from scoring again.
