India has sent 117 athletes to the Paris Olympics 2024, competing across 16 sports. This includes five former Olympic medal winners – Neeraj Chopra, PV Sindhu, Mirabai Chanu, Lovlina Borgohain, and the men’s hockey team.

India started their campaign before the official opening ceremony on 26 July, with the individual ranking round in archery on 25 July. Officially, India began competing on 27 July with the 10m air rifle mixed team event. The Games will conclude on 11 August.

Manu Bhaker won India's first medal at the Paris Olympics 2024. The 22-year-old shooter struck Bronze for India, to become the first woman to win a medal in Shooting.
She then bagged another bronze for India, along with Sarabjot Singh in the Mixed 10m Air Pistol event. Shooting gave another medal for India after Swapnil Kusale won bronze in men's 50m 3 positions events.
On Thursday, the Indian men's hockey team beat Spain 2-1 to secure a Bronze medal. Neeraj Chopra then won India a silver in the Javelin Throw.
Wrestler Aman Sehrawat followed that up with a bronze in the men's 57kg freestyle event.
