The Indian star's best performance in the ongoing season was reaching the final of the Madrid Masters 2023. She will begin her campaign in the upcoming competition against Canada’s world No. 61 Talia Ng.
Meanwhile, Lakshya Sen will be headlining the men's section. In fact, he is the only Indian men's singles player in the main draw. Sen is set to begin his campaign in the round of 32 against Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn.
Among the other prominent men's singles shuttlers, Parupalli Kashyap will start in the qualifiers against Germany's Kai Schaefer. HS Prannoy and Kidambi Srikanth are not participating in the event.
