Manu Bhaker created history in Paris, becoming the first woman hailing from the Indian subcontinent to win an Olympic medal in shooting. The 22-year-old youngster bagged the bronze medal in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol, making a stunning comeback after a disappointing campaign at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. 

The then 19-year-old couldn’t make it into the final round in any of the shooting events, however, she managed to punch back by finishing third in both qualifying and final rounds in Paris.

The star shooter didn't just stop there, once again bagging a bronze medal for the Indian contingent at the  event, this time teaming up with Sarabjot Singh in the Mixed 10m Air Pistol.  

Having won two medals already, the ace Indian shooter will be in action one again, eyeing for that hat-trick of Olympic medals.

When will Manu Bhaker be in action next?

Manu will next feature in the qualifying round of the Women's 25M Air Pistol on August 2. the time for the same is yet to be decided.
