The Super Bowl is one of the most-watched sporting events across the globe. The winners of the American Football Conference (AFC) clash against their counterparts from the National Football Conference (NFC). And the occasion is generally one of the most watched sporting events in the world.

The 58th edition of the Super Bowl will be telecast in India. As is customary, the Super Bowl will be played on the second Sunday of February.

Due to the stark difference in time zones between India and the United States of America (USA), Indian fans hoping to follow the Super Bowl would have to start their Sunday way earlier than usual. 

Super Bowl start time, kickoff in India

Super Bowl LVIII is scheduled to begin at 05:00 am IST on February 12.

Pre-game coverage typically starts an hour before kickoff at 04:00 am IST.

Where is the Super Bowl being played?

The 58th Super Bowl is scheduled at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in Nevada.

It's the first time that the state of Nevada would play as hosts to the big-ticket match.

The construction of Allegiant Stadium was completed in July 2020 ahead of the Raiders' first season in Nevada, and it was approved to host the Super Bowl just one year later.

Who is playing in the Super Bowl this year?

Reigning champions of the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs would lock horns against the NFC title-holders, the San Francisco 49ers in the 58th Super Bowl.

The KSC got their berth in the Super Bowl by getting the better of Baltimore Ravens by 17-10. Their counterparts from the NFC, the 49ers beat Detroit Lions by a narrow margin of 34-31 to book their seat to Nevada.
