Lamar Jackson will be working with a whole new flock in 2023.

The Ravens have done a lot of work to reinvigorate their wide receiver room and give the recently re-signed Jackson more in the upcoming season.

The cherry on top (for now) was Zay Flowers, one of the best wide receiver prospects in this year's draft, heading to Baltimore in the first round Thursday night. Flowers' selection might not end the rebuilding of the receiver room, either.

Trade rumors have linked the Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins to Baltimore, but Arizona general manager Monti Ossenfort made it clear Thursday night that Hopkins will remain on the team through the draft. It's still early in the offseason, and with Day 2 and 3 picks ahead, a deal could still be in the cards.

That said, it's already a brand-new room in Baltimore. Here's how the team's wide receiver depth chart looks after Round 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft, and how all the pieces may fit:

Ravens wide receiver depth chart

The full room, post-Roun 1:

Rank Player
1 Rashod Bateman
2 Zay Flowers
3 Odell Beckham Jr.
4 Nelson Agholor
5 Devin Duvernay
6 James Proche
7 Mike Thomas
8 Andy Isabella
9 Shemar Bridges
10 Tylan Wallace
11 Tarik Black

A look at the likely top receivers entering training camp:

No. 1: Rashod Bateman

2022 stats: Six games (five starts), 28 targets, 15 receptions, 285 yards, two touchdowns.

Bateman is in this spot because someone has to be No. 1 until the first unofficial depth charts come out in a few months' time. He probably won't be No. 1 then.

Bateman has dealt with injuries and inconsistency since he was taken in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and he will get an opportunity to stick at the top of the depth chart. But don't be surprised if his share of snaps gets eaten into by the rookie — or if he's moved before the start of the season.

No. 2: Zay Flowers

2022 stats: N/A (rookie in 2023)

Flowers is diminutive (5-9), but he plays with great speed and is explosive with the ball in his hands. That gives Jackson a true game-breaking threat if Flowers develops. Flowers is silky in his route-running which means he can play outside, even with the physical limitations.

No. 3: Odell Beckham Jr.

2022 stats: N/A (injured)

There's a question as to whether Beckham can get back to being the player he was prior to the ACL injury that kept him out all of 2022. The Ravens are thinking there's plenty left in the tank, as they giving him a one-year, $18 million contract in mid-April.

Beckham can play in the slot and outside, so he'll be a chess piece for new offensive coordinator Todd Monken. He and Flowers give the Ravens two receivers who can move inside and out to create mismatches, which should make for a drastically different attack in 2023.

No. 4: Nelson Agholor

2022 stats: 16 games, 53 targets, 31 receptions, 362 yards, two touchdowns.

Agholor signed a one-year, $3.25 million contract earlier in the offseason. He is a warm body for a unit that needed experience and solid pass-catchers, but don't expect him to be a difference-maker.

No. 5: Devin Duvernay

2022 stats: 14 games, 49 targets, 37 receptions, 407 yards, three touchdowns.

Duvernay's targets won't increase in 2023, considering he'll have to fight for outside snaps with Beckham, Flowers and Agholor now in the mix.

The bottom six receivers on this list combined for 14 receptions and 133 yards in 2022. Proche had eight of those catches. Wallace had four, and Thomas had two for the Bengals.
