There are 257 people that will see a dream come true when the 2024 NFL Draft rolls through Detroit.

As the NFL's 32 teams get set to welcome in the future of the league, some clubs have more work to do than others. Some are trying to rebuild, others hope to strike gold to contend for the playoffs and a few will try to put the finishing touches on a Super Bowl-winning caliber roster.

The festivities are expected to kick off with the selection of USC quarterback Caleb Williams, who will be calling the Windy City home when the Bears make the pick official. Everything after that remains a mystery.

It comes as no surprise that nothing is a given during the draft, with teams hoping to collect as many proverbial throws at the dart board as possible.

While there is certain to be plenty of twists and turns, six teams will be heard from quite a bit in the Motor City. Here's what you need to know about which teams have the most picks, which teams have the least and everyone else in between.

Who has the most picks in the 2024 NFL Draft?

The Cardinals, Packers and Rams pace the field with 11 picks each this year, but only Arizona will be making two picks in the first round out of that group.

Six teams cracked the double digit mark, meaning that nearly 25 percent of the 257 picks will be made by the following teams before any trades shake up the board:

Who has the fewest picks in the 2024 NFL Draft?

Only four teams will make less than their allotted seven selections — the Bears, Browns, Dolphins and Giants.

The most interesting of the four teams is the Bears, who are slated to make two top-10 picks, but will have just two more after that. That makes Chicago — after selecting Caleb Williams at No. 1 — a potential trade-down candidate if they want to accumulate more picks throughout the weekend.

Bears' GM Ryan Poles has been active in the trade market over the last year, sending out the team's second-round pick for the services of Montez Sweat, a fourth-rounder for Keenan Allen and several other late-round picks for depth pieces.
