The Summer League action continued on Day 3 in Las Vegas, with plenty of highlights.
Canadian Ignas Brazdeikis put on a show for the New York Knicks in their OT loss to the Phoenix Suns, with 30 points, while Gary Trent Jr. was the star of the day, knocking down seven three-pointers to lead the Portland Trail Blazers past the Houston Rockets with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

San Antonio Spurs 106, Charlotte Hornets 96
Spurs: Quinnadary Weatherspoon – 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals
Hornets: Miles Bridges – 23 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals
In a back-and-forth battle, this game had eight ties and 17 lead changes, including four in the fourth quarter. With with 7:56 to play, the Spurs went on a 14-2 run to seize momentum and seal the win.
MIles Bridges impressed for the Hornets with 23 points and no shortage of highlights.
Brooklyn Nets 74, Croatia 58
The Nets turned up the heat on defence, holding Croatia to 35 percent shooting from the field, including 2-of-21 from three (9%)

Croatia: Antonio Vrankovic – 12 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks
Minnesota Timberwolves 90, Atlanta Hawks 66
Timberwolves: Josh Okogie – 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks
Hawks: Omari Spellman – 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks
The Timberwolves were locked in on defence, recording 10 steals and forcing 22 turnovers in the 24-point win.
Denver Nuggets 84, Orlando Magic 79
Nuggets: Terence Davis – 22 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block
Magic: Erik McCree – 17 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals
The Nuggets led this one wire-to-wire, thanks to some red-hot shooting from deep. Denver connected on 11-of-25 (44%) from the three-point line, with Terence Davis going 5-of-7.
Cleveland Cavaliers 82, Chicago Bulls 75
Cavaliers: Naz Mitrou-Long – 21 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal
Bulls: Mychal Mulder – 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists
The Cavaliers finished the game on a 16-5 run, closing out the Bulls with a strong defensive performance.
All eyes were on Chicago's no. 7 pick in last month's draft, Coby White, who finished with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and one slick step-back move.
Miami Heat 93, Utah Jazz 81
Heat: Duncan Robinson – 20 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal
Jazz: Willie Reed – 14 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks
The Heat used a strong second quarter to take a 14-point lead into half-time and they never looked back, thanks to big nights from Kendrick Nunn (22 points), Duncan Robinson (20 points) and Tyler Herro (16 points).
Phoenix Suns 105, New York Knicks 100 (OT)
Suns: James Palmer Jr. – 23 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal
Knicks : Ignas Brazdeikis – 30 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists
James Palmer Jr. led the Suns with 23 points, while Jared Harper and Rayvonte Rice added 19 each. Harper and Rice each buried a pair of clutch free throws late in OT to seal the win.
All eyes were on RJ Barrett, but it was Ignas Brazdeikis who stole the show for the Knicks, with 30 points, including the game-tying three to send the game into overtime. Barrett finished with 8 points on 3-of-15 shooting, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and a block – plus 8 turnovers.

Portland Trail Blazers 97, Houston Rockets 87

Gary Trent had the hot hand for Portland, shooting 10-of-12 from the field, including 7-of-8 from the three-point line.

Clippers: Mfiondu Kabengele – 19 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block
