Steph Curry snapped out of the worst shooting slump of his career and had help from Klay Thompson, who knocked down five triples as well, as the duo turned back time with a vintage Splash Brothers performance.

Curry recorded his best shooting night (6-of-10 from distance) since Dec.23 when he went 8-of-14 in a game against Memphis. He ended the game with 29 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Thompson added 23 points on 5-of-9 from three-point range.

The two combined for eleven made three-pointers.

In fact, since the New Year, Curry has endured the worst shooting slump of his career.

Curry was shooting under 30 percent from long-range and just 36 percent from the field heading into Thursday's game against the Timberwolves, which the Warriors won, 124-115. Last Sunday, he went a paltry 1-for13 from deep for 13 points against Utah.

"Who gives a damn about excuses?" he said recently. "You either make shots, or you miss shots. I’ve got to start making some shots."

He had 12 points against Milwaukee a few weeks back, and nine points against Miami a few weeks before that.

More so, with the exception of the 2019-20 season, when an injury to his shooting hand limited Curry to five games, he has never shot worse than 46% for a season or below 41% from beyond the arc. He’s shooting 41.6 percent from the field and 37.3% from 3-point range this season.

Not exactly 'Greatest shooter of all-time' numbers.

Curry bounced back against the Wolves, though, in a vintage performance with his backcourt running mate, Klay Thompson. His shot looked more natural. More Steph-like.

Thursday's game was the first time both Curry and Thompson had 20 plus points each since the 2019 NBA finals vs Toronto. It's the 36th time that the duo have each made five 3-pointers in the same game, which is 16 more than any pair of teammates in NBA history.

The Warriors are now 5-1 on their current homestand which ends on Saturday night when the Nets visit the Chase Center.
