Vinsanity Scale: Celtics guard Jaylen Brown detonates for emphatic poster dunk vs. Magic image

Welcome to the Vinsanity Scale! In honour of one of the greatest in-game dunkers in NBA history, the Vinsanity Scale rates dunks on a scale of 1-4. Similar to the Horry Scale, the dunk in question is graded on the game situation, difficulty and celebration to answer one question: Would it make Half Man, Half Amazing proud?

The dunk

Game situation

The Celtics led 55-45 midway through the third quarter before Brown quietened the Amway Center with the monster poster dunk.

Difficulty

A cutting Brown picked up the bounce pass from Marcus Smart and only has eyes for the rim.

Despite Magic center Mo Bamba getting across the lane to contest the dunk, Brown jumped off two feet, strapped on the jetpack and went right at the big man, finishing through contact.

I mean...he was right there.

Reaction

Brown stood still after throwing it down, simply staring at the scene of his jam.

Meanwhile, the Celtics bench couldn't get enough of it.

Vinsanity Scale

Jumping off two feet always makes a dunk look cooler and throw in the fact it was over the outstretched arms of 7-foot-1 big man Mo Bamba....I give it three Vinsanitys.
