Another big day for basketball at the Tokyo Olympics is in the books. 

Catch up with everything that went down with the final score and top performers from each game.

France 79, Iran 62

#France

France advances through the Group Stage undefeated after an beating Iran in their final Group A game to seal top spot. 

Thomas Heurtel scored a team-high 16 points, while Timothe Luwawu Cabarrot added 12 points. Nando de Colo had 10 poins, five rebounds and five assists.

Former NBA center Hamed Haddadi had 18 points and 12 rebounds for Iran, who exit the tournament winless through their three games.

With the win, France will claim one of the top seeds for the Quarter-Final draw, which will be finalsied after the final pool games have been completed.

What's next?

The Quarter-Finals get underway on Aug. 3.

Italy 80, Nigeria 71

Italy advance to the Quarter-Finals for the fifth consecutive Games, elimintating Nigeria in the process.

Nigeria led 63-56 at the end of the third quarter, but went scoreless for a seven-minute stretch in the fourth that let Italy back into the contest. They went on a 14-0 run, with Nico Mannion's 3-pointer with 29.9 seconds remaining icing the win. 

He finished with 14 points and four rebounds, while Nicolo Melli led them in scoring with 15 points and four rebounds. Achille Polonara was pivotal in that fourth qaurter run, finishing with 13 points.

15 points, Nico Mannion had 14 and Italy used a 14-0 run in the fourth quarter to rally and beat Nigeria 80-71 in the Group B finale for both teams on Saturday.

What's next?

Following Australia's win over Germany, Italy finish second in Group B, with their Quarter-Final opponent to be determined following the completion of the preliminary games. 

Australia 89, Germany 76

#Mills

The Australian Boomers seal the top spot in Group B, going undefeated in the Group Stage for the first time ever at an Olympic Games.

Patty Mills took over down the stretch, recording 24 points and six assists on 9-of-23 from the field and 5-of-13 from the 3-point line, while Jock Landale added 18 points and Nick Kay 16.

Playing without Aron Baynes, the Boomers went to a smaller lineup with Landale and Kay spending time at the five, but they struggled on the glass as Germany outrebounded Australia 45-28 and 18-9 on the offensive end.

Andreas Obst led Germany with 17 points, while Niles Giffey and Johannes Thiemann added 11 points each. 

What's next?

The Boomers go into the Quarter-Finals with a favourable draw as one of the top teams, but will have to wait until Sunday's final round of preliminary games to learn who their opponent will be.

Meanwhile, Germany holds a 1-2 record, sitting third in Group B, but could still qualify for the quarters if results go their way.

United States 119, Czech Republic 84

Czech Republic came out of the gate red hot, but the United States didn't take long to counter and take command of the game.

Once Kevin Durant knocked down the bucket that made him the all-time leading scorer in USA Basketball history at the Olympics, he didn't look back, finishing with a masterful performance of 23 points to go with a team-high eight rebounds and six assists.

After halftime, it was young superstar Jayson Tatum who carried Team USA to the finish line, going for 21 of his game-high 27 points in the second half on an efficient shooting night of 10-for-16 from the field and 5-for-6 from 3-point range.

For the Czechs, forward Blake Schilb put forth an impressive performance of 17 points with five 3-pointers, while Tomas Satoransky stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, eight assists and six rebounds.

With the win, the United States advance out of the Group Stage. With the loss coming by 35 points, the Czechs have eliminated themselves from Knockout Stage contention due to the point differential tiebreaker.

What's next?

Team USA awaits its drawing in the Quarter-Finals, which are set to begin on Aug. 3.
