Luka Doncic and Anthony Edwards will face off in the Western Conference Finals as the Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks inch closer to a coveted NBA title.

The Timberwolves are coming off an exciting Game 7 victory against the defending champion Denver Nuggets, and the Mavs took down Oklahoma City in six games to advance to the penultimate round.

Minnesota dominated the regular-season series against Dallas, 3-1, but Doncic missed two of those games, and Kyrie Irving sat out three. This is the first time both teams will play each other at full strength this year.

The series begins in Minnesota, where the Timberwolves will attempt to pull out two wins at home before heading to Dallas. The Mavs will have to overcome Minnesota's suffocating defense to steal a win or two in Minneapolis, and all eyes will be on the tandems of Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns and Doncic and Irving.
