The night before Thanksgiving gave us to a monster 14-game slate on Wednesday night, with countless storylines to keep an eye on. Here are the biggest at the end of all the games:

  • Kemba Walker drops season-high 39 to lead Celtics past a Kyrie-less Nets squad
  • Joel Embiid records 33-16 double-double to help 76ers beat the Kings and remain undefeated at home
  • James Harden scores 34 as Rockets beat Heat squad that suited up without Jimmy Butler.
  • Khris Middleton returns from injury and Giannis Antetokounmpo scores 30 as Bucks win their 9th straight
  • Anthony Davis makes his first appearance in New Orleans and goes off for 41 in the Lakers' 9th straight win
  • Carmelo Anthony's home debut in Portland finishes as his most efficient shooting night of his career.

Kemba Walker starred for the Celtics with 39 points, while Garrett Temple had 22 for Brooklyn.

The Hornets failed to score a bucket over the game's last 2:09, but they held on to claim a nail biting win.

All five starters finished in double-digits for Charlotte, while Blake Griffin led the Pistons with 26.

Houston opened up a 24-point lead at halftime, effectively ending the contest, before cruising to a 117-108 win.

Scoring 11 points in the first six minutes, Harden made his intentions clear, before finishing with 34 point, six rebounds and five assists.

A Montrezl Harrell tip-in with 2.3 seconds left has lifted the Clippers to a nail biting win over the Grizzlies.

This one was tight throughout, but it the leagues most dangerous bench duo that helped the Clippers claim the win, with Harrell and Lou Williams each dropping 24 poitns off the bench.

Atlanta Hawks 102 vs Milwaukee Bucks 111

The Bucks continued their winning ways as they handled the Hawks to move to 15-3 on the season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 30 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four blocks, while Khris Middleton returned from injury to score 16 off the bench.
