Game of the Night

Look no further than the Los Angeles Lakers' roller-coaster win over the Memphis Grizzlies at STAPLES Center!

The Lakers picked up their first win of the season, but it didn't come easy against a Grizzlies side led by a 40-point, 10-assist explosion from Ja Morant. It came right down to the wire after Kent Bazemore fouled Morant on a 3-point attempt with the Lakers in front 119-116 with 2.5 seconds to go.

Morant made the first two and missed the third that would have potentially forced overtime, letting the Lakers off the hook as Carmelo Anthony iced the game with a pair of free throws at the other end.

Anthony was the star man for the Lakers, pouring in a team-high 28 points on 10-of-15 shooting and 6-of-8 from beyond the arc off the bench.

In the process, Anthony passed Moses Malone for ninth all-time in scoring, connecting on a 3-pointer in the third quarter.

LeBron James added 19 points, six rebounds and six assists, while Russell Westbrook recorded 13 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds and Anthony Davis 22 points, eight boards and four blocks.

Highlight of the Night

Houston Rockets rookie Jalen Green nearly blew the roof off the Toyota Center with this high-flying dunk!

He became the first Rockets rookie with at least 30 points and eight 3-pointers in a breakout performance in just his third NBA game.

Performance of the Night

There was plenty to pick from but Miles Bridges' performance against the Brooklyn Nets takes the cake.

Matched up against Kevin Durant, the 23-year-old powered the Hornets to a 16-point road win to give them a 3-0 start for the first time in franchise history!

He finished with 32 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals, a block and a signature 360 jam!
