On Monday (December 2), the Basketball Federation of India announced the national team rosters - both men and women for 3x3 and 5-on-5 - for the South Asian Games 2019.
The South Asian Games 2019 will be held in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Janakpur, Nepal from December 1-10.
Basketball is scheduled to take place from December 5-10 while 3x3 Basketball is set to be conducted from December 7-9 at the Covered Hall, Tripureshwor.
Among the announced squad for the games, there are few boys and girls from the NBA Academy India that have been selected into this senior national team - Sejin Mathew, Harshwardhan Tomar, and Sreekala Rani.

The women's senior national team would be looking to get some wins under their belt after going winless in two FIBA tournaments in the past few months - 0-3 at the FIBA Asia Cup in September in Bengaluru and 0-3 last month at the FIBA Pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Malaysia.
