The men won both their league games - vs. Bhutan (138-63) and vs. Sri Lanka (125-50) - setting up a semifinal clash with Nepal. They beat Nepal 107-58 to face Sri Lanka in the Final.
They clinched the gold medal by defeating Sri Lanka 101-62.

In the women's category, India breezed by their league games - vs. Maldives (156-33) and vs. Sri Lanka (136-50) - setting up a semifinal clash with Bhutan. They beat Bhutan 134-27 to face the host nation Nepal in the Final.
They clinched the gold medal by defeating Nepal 127-46.
Pathbreaking 16-year-old Harsimran Kaur, the reigning MVP of the NBA Academy India Women's Camp, was part of the roster.

India clinched the gold medals in both men and women's categories of the 3x3 format as well. Just like the 5-on-5 format, both teams went undefeated in this format as well.
En route to their respective gold medals, the men's team defeated Sri Lanka 21-13 and Nepal 17-11 in the group games while the women's team defeated Sri Lanka 18-10 and Nepal 21-11.
