On a night when the next generation of NBA stars will shine bright, Scoot Henderson may be the one that shines brightest.

Henderson did not hold back with his outfit choice on the biggest night of his basketball career, opting for a number of statement pieces, namely a jacket adorned in jewels, a few chains, and a multicolored grill. Given his accessories, Henderson is certainly giving Kansas' Gradey Dick a run for his money.

Ahead of the NBA Draft, Henderson explained his outfit during an appearance on ESPN's "NBA Today."

"Im representing my family with all this," Henderson told the crew of Cassidy Hubbarth, Richard Jefferson, and Kendrick Perkins. "It might look like a lot, but it's just my family."

"All the jewels on this — the colors — are birthstones of my siblings, my family, and my parents, so that's what it is. My brothers are on my back — they protect me at all costs."

Whether it's the colors in his grill, necklace or suit jacket, each are inspired by his family — the "Henderson seven," which represent Scoot and his six siblings. They're also represented by the "H7" pendant on one of his chains.

Like many NBA Draft hopefuls, Henderson has been extremely vocal about the support of his family, namely his older brother, CJ, and younger sister, Crystal, who, of his six siblings, are the two closest to him in age.

Henderson's family has played a key role throughout his life and career, specifically his decision in 2021 to join NBA G League Ignite at 17 years old, making him the youngest American to sign a basketball contract to play professionally in the United States.

As he makes his next step to the NBA, Henderson will have his family with him in more ways than one.
