With ten games to keep an eye on this Friday night, there was no shortage of highlights to catch and scores to track. 

Here are some of the intriguing storylines at the end of all the games:

  • Blake Griffin scored a season-high scored 24 as the Pistons snapped a 5-game losing streak by handing the Hawks their fifth straight loss. 
  • The San Antonio Spurs fall to their eighth straight loss, with a defeat in Philadelphia.
  • In the finale of their five-game road trip, the Celtics fall short as the Nuggets win their eighth in the last nine behind Nikola Jokic's triple-double.
  • In a clash of superduos, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George came out on top as the LA Clippers beat the Houston Rockets in a thriller.

Los Angeles Lakers def. OKC Thunder, 130-127

Anthony Davis pours in 33, LeBron James dishes out 14 assists and four other Lakers score in double figures as the Lakers win their sixth straight to improve their league-best record to 13-2.

The OKC Thunder had six players in double figures led by 24 from Shai-Gilgeous Alexander but it wasn't enough as they lose both games of a home-and-home against the Lakers.

Dallas Mavericks def. Cleveland Cavaliers, 143-101

Denver Nuggets def. Boston Celtics, 96-92

Nikola Jokic recorded his third triple-double of the season with 18 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists to help the Nuggets win their fourth consecutive game and their eighth in their last nine.
