Over the past few years, Satnam Singh has made basketball history for Indian athletes in the sport.
In 2015, he became the first Indian-born basketball player to be drafted in the NBA in 2015 and subsequently becoming the first Indian-born play to participate in the NBA's D-League (now G-league) for the Texas Legends, the Dallas Mavericks' affiliate.
After two years with the Texas Legends and then a year off to focus on his national commitments, the baller from Punjab is back at it.

Here's a short highlight video of his best game so far. It came against the Moncton Magic in the team's home opener where he finished with 5 points on 2-3 shooting in 10 minutes.
Located in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador in the eastern-most portion of Canada, the Edge is one of the best teams in the league. They finished with the league's third-best record last season at 29-19 which was second in their division. After winning their opening round playoff series, the Edge lost in the Division Finals which is one step short of the league's championship series.
