Anthony Davis is reportedly set to be a Laker for years to come.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Davis has agreed to a five-year deal worth $190 million with the Los Angeles Lakers. The deal reportedly includes an early termination option prior to the fifth year.

Davis' long-term commitment to the Lakers comes less than 24 hours after reports surfaced that NBA Finals MVP LeBron James had agreed to an extension that would keep him with the franchise through the 2022-23 NBA season, at the very least.
While it was seen by many as a formality that Davis would commit to the Lakers, it was unclear for how long, as many speculated he would opt for a shorter-term deal. Instead, Davis' long-term commitment provides more clarity for a Lakers franchise that looks to build upon winning the 2020 NBA title.
Davis, who was acquired by Los Angeles last offseason, earned All-NBA First Team honours after averaging 26.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.3 blocks over 62 regular-season games.
In the postseason, Davis averaged 27.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists over 21 games as the Lakers went on to win the 2020 NBA title, the first of Davis' career.
Davis' re-signing caps off a busy offseason for Los Angeles in which it acquired Dennis Schröder, signed Marc Gasol and Montrezl Harrell, extended James' contract and re-signed Jared Dudley and Markieff Morris.
In retooling the roster and securing their top-two players for years to come, the Lakers stand to be contenders for the foreseeable future.
