Free-agent forward Davis Bertans re-signed with his current team the Washington Wizards, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

At 6'10", the Latvian, one of the best shooters in the league, is coming off a career year in the 2019-20 season. He recorded career-highs across the board in points (15.4), rebounds (4.5), assists (1.7), and minutes (29.3).
In the absence of John Wall, Bertans was the team's second-leading scorer behind Bradley Beal, emerging as one of the league's most lethal shooters. He shot 42.4% from the 3-point line on 8.7 attempts — the sixth-best percentage from deep in the NBA.
A second-round pick (42nd overall) by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2011 Draft, he made his NBA debut in the 2016-17 season. The Wizards acquired him last offseason in a three-team trade that also involved the Brooklyn Nets.
Deals can only be agreed upon in principle until Nov. 22 at 10:31 p.m. (IST) when they can be signed and made official.
