In the Ignite's 10th regular-season game (on Feb. 27, Saturday IST), against the Salt Lake City Stars, Indian prospect Princepal Singh scored his first points in the NBA G League.
He finished with five points in just three minutes of action, including a dunk and a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, in the Ignite's 107-87 loss.
This comes just over a week after the 20-year-old made his seven-minute scoreless G League debut against the Erie Bayhawks.

The dunk, his first G League field goal, made him the third Indian ever - after Satnam Singh Bhamara and Amjyot Singh Gill - to score in the NBA's official development league.

It also made him the first NBA Academy alumni to score points in the G League.
In the loss, which put the Ignite's record at 6-4, Jalen Green - the No. 1 prospect on ESPN's Top 100 in 2020 - scored a career-high 24, a tally which he would surpass in the team's next game against Canton Charge.

The game against the Charge came down to the final seconds, and the Ignite were victorious courtesy of Isaiah Todd's game-winning buzzer-beater.

At the end of 11 games, the Ignite's record stands at 7-4, good for sixth in the standings. At the conclusion of the 15-game regular-season schedule, the Ignite must remain in the top-8 to qualify for the playoffs.
