New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson set the internet on fire on Tuesday evening.

Just one day after the superstar was ruled out for the season due to a lingering foot injury, Williamson was quick to remind everyone of what he's capable of doing on the court.

Williamson posted a video on his Instagram story, throwing down a ridiculous through the legs dunk after a self-alley-oop off the glass.

The dunk is so filthy that it almost looks fake.

It's easy to forget Williamson is capable of these types of things. It's been almost a year since the last time we saw the 21-year-old take the floor, but don't overlook how dominant he was.

Williamson averaged 27.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game while shooting a jaw-dropping 61.1 percent from the field.

While the Pelicans have missed their star forward this season, the team is finding a way to carry on without him. After getting out to a 1-12 start to the season, New Orleans has turned things around and are now firmly planted in the Western Conference Play-In picture.

Thanks to a core of Brandon Ingram, Jonas Valanciunas and recently-acquired CJ McCollum, the Pelicans are building a talented foundation for Williamson to join when he can return to the floor.

How long is Zion Williamson out?

The clip was shocking, considering Williamson's 2021-22 season was derailed before it even started. The Pelicans All-Star underwent foot surgery just before the start of the season and dealt with a number of setbacks as the year went on.

On March 22, the Pelicans announced that Williamson is done for the year.

The Pelicans own a 30-42 record, one game back from the Los Angeles Lakers for the No. 9 seed in the West.

New Orleans still has two matchups remaining with the Lakers, only needing one win to take the tiebreaker.
