Nobody could have seen Nikola Jokic becoming the player he is today.
A total of 40 players heard their names called before the Nuggets star during the 2014 NBA Draft. Almost a decade later, Jokic is proving himself to be one of the greatest players to ever put on an NBA uniform.
Jokic earned the fifth All-Star and fifth All-NBA selections of his career in the 2022-23 season. He finished runner-up to Joel Embiid for MVP, but he's already won the award two times. He's also now only two wins away from capturing his first NBA championship.
Based on all of his accomplishments, you probably won't be surprised to hear that Jokic is paid rather well.
